Very welcome buddy, The stock mufflers produce decent backpressure so you get plenty of torque induced launches, with lots of screaming fury from the back end!

Def buddy, there really is only one way for it to go one, you have to make all the holes align. It has a very modern mounting system for being a 16 year old vehicle. It'll go straight on and off, i did mine by myself and it didnt take long at all, it would def. help to have a second set of hands though. -

Hey everyone, thankyou for all of the caring comments! We safely made it to Hattiesburg, Miss. and now are just waiting to find out whether or not we will have a home left..... ....you see where the projected path is, the eye is passing right to the west of where we live by about 15 miles......"the perfect storm" -
This will probably be the last post i will have on here for a long while, being that i live only 15 min or so from the Gulf of Mexico, we have to get out of here. Hopefully my car makes it ok, but my family most of all. Hope to be back soon! <_<

Run true duals from the primary cats, deleting everything between the motor and the mufflers.

Save yourself the trouble and just pull the bumper cover off right off the bat, those highbeams are some tricky suckers. <_< any suggestion /instruction how to remove the bumper??? thanks LoL a wholelot of bolts and clips, just go for it, its not difficult at all. (15 min) -
Use a clearcoat designed for sealing plastic, or just any clearcoat safe on the lenses, but also made for plastic

Valve Cover/spark Plug Gasket Change

It had a full timing job including, Timing belt, tensioners, pulleys, thermostat, water pump, cam seals, crank seal, drive belts, wires, plugs caps, rotors, only about 120 miles ago, lol. It just has a light leak from the driverside bank. -
ANYONE??? Its really annoying me, i have a practically new bulb in there. It starts out at the right speed (still blinking dim) and then speeds up. The rear turn signal also speeds up but is not dim. It sounds like there's a short somewhere. check your tail light signal and see if you have a bad bulb. Did you have this problem before or after your housing swap? After the housing swap, but i have the halo's wired into the running lights.....i dont see how the turn signal is affected. I found the problem. One of the butt connectors i used to wire in the balast for the halo let go of the wire and allowed it to grounds itself to the frame of the car, which looks like it just burned the wire back until it didnt touch anymore. I am just absolutely floored that it didnt pop any sort of fuse. All it did was damage one of the elements in the turn signal bulb on that side. I replaced it with another SilverStar and i was on my way. (after fixing the short issue, lol) Glad that was the problem. It's a Lexus. Amen brother B)

Under the passenger side dash, pull the plastic cover off (4 plugs i believe) then unscrew the two wingnuts

I wish i would have taken pictures, but in my case the only way that headlight could get out of there is to come straight up (because of how its supported below) and i tried bending the bumper cover back, it wasnt half of the distance needed to slide the housing out. Just go for it and see how it works out in your situation. -

Many people have said you dont have to, but by no means did i see any other way. MAYBE if you bent the bumper cover back VERY hard, but then your risking damaging the paint. -
Valve Cover/spark Plug Gasket Change
Lethal_Threat replied to Lethal_Threat's topic in 92 - 00 Lexus SC300 / SC400
Anyone?? -
So it is looking like i have some leaking from the valve covers, so i'd like to change the valve cover/sparkplug gaskets. Is it pretty much pulling off the plastic sparkplug wire covers, removing the intake unbolting the valve covers and changing their gaskets. Is there any little tricks or problems i need to be cautious of???? Any help would be awesome.
