I'm having this problem as well. I bought a used 2001 RX300 in December, and this is the first time I've had to add washer fluid (and the first time I've ever had this problem). I'm hoping you're correct in that the problem fixes itself - but I don't understand why we should have to wait. Could it be air in the line?
