I currently have a RX300 1999. I am hearing a whining sounding noise which sounds like it is behind the speedometer, dash, etc......it is intermittent and goes in and out. Does anyone know what this might be? It only does it when the A/C, Heater, etc..is on. Thanks. James

I have the same problem, but have yet to buy a used key because of that same problem. I see when the casing is apart that the key is molded in the bottom casing. If you come up with anything let me know. I need a casing for my key also. James
