I'm confused. (Seems to be a recurring condition with me) I have a 94 LS400 with 16" wheels and a 04 LS430 with 18" wheels. If I upgrade the 04's wheels, can I put the old 04's on the 94 or will the brakes get in the way? Talked to one supplier and they alerted me to this problem and said I could not do it but your response seems to say that this could work. Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem. Lights would slowly come on like they had to thaw out as I drove. The gas gauge did not work, drove with the odometer. Sent my dash, easy to unplug and pull out, to Mr. Whizard in North Dakota. Cost about $200 and works as good as new along with the gas gauge. http://www.mrwhizard.com/ Good luck. Don't know about the gas mileage. I get about 21.
