Checked for the brake lights and they work as they should (they aren't "on" all the time) No rough idle so likely not a vacuum line... Any other thoughts ?...its inconvenient but not a big deal. Thanks for the tips, Alan

I have a 2002 RX300 with about 60,000m on it...only issue is the cruise control doesn't work for me. Shows "on" when activated but won't hold a speed or "hook up"....any thoughts ?? Thanks, Alan

I've just bought a '02 and considered a 100000mile /5 yr powertrain warranty for $600 or so...subject to negociation. But...reading the conditions...it needed 4 oil changes each year...at a "certified" garage..and so on. I intend to do the usual..oil changes, trans fluid etc myself...so no go on the warranty right off the bat. YMMV Alan

Harbor Freight...$4.99....Suction gun 95468ovga. I'm going to pick a couple up this weekend as I hope to use one to "reverse flush" the clutch cable on my other car...and the other for power steering "out" and "in" and tranny and diff "in" duties. I don't want to contaminate the brake / clutch fluid one. The price is right. Cheers, Alan
