Is anyone having this problem? The driver side door cladding is warped. That causes the cladding to come loose. I have brought it to the dealer 3 times and it's still not fixed. The double sided tape that they used doesn't seem to work and leaves a gap in between. Thanks for your input.

They replaced the antenna and it works fine now. The pleasanton dealership was great. However the auto headlights do not work. They don't turn on when it's dark. Also the side driver panel is not sealed properly (pretty minor) I hope these are the last problems. I am getting to know the service people a bit too well :D

The GPS antenna is bad. The No Cal. dealer placed an order and should get it in a week. I am p-off at the So Cal. dealer that I purchased the GX from. They should have checked it before delivering the vehicle. Also, I think they knew something was wrong but couldn't figure it out, but they just delivered it anyway. They just manually calibrated it so it would for a few miles. I found out about the problem after leaving the dealership.

I finally bought the GX "e" last week for 2k over invoice. GPS is not working yet. I am bringing it to the dealer tomorrow.

Is this considered a defect and is there anyway to get a new truck from Lexus? That sucks! Best of luck and keep us updated.

I agree! I have more storage store in my RX than the GX. I thought I was the only one that thinks there's no storage space!

everything is original. it's like that when i left the dealership. of course i didn't know there was supposed to be gps icon. i hope it's not a major problem.

I know exactly what you are talking about but it's not there! I set up a service appointment this thurs to have the dealer take a look. That sucks!

yes, there's only the "direction" icon on the top left corner. Should there be a "GPS" icon below that? That's what the manual says and I also see it in my friends 2002 RX300. Did they change the format for the 04 GX models or is yours also a 04? Thanks.

I just bought my car yesterday. However while driving home from L.A. to Northern California (after 5 min), my location was totally off?? It looked like the GPS system was not picking up the signal. I stopped the car to manually calibrate, and it work for only a few miles, then lost again. A day later and it's still not working. Is there supposed to be a "GPS" icon on the top left corner (shown in the manual)? Please help!!! I plan to bring it back to the dealer to fix it. Is anyone having this problem? Other than that, the car is great.

Back again... What's a good price in California? I checked KBB with the options that I want (NAV, Third Row, DVD). The retail price is $52,784 and the invoice price for all options is $45,501. I hear some people on other boards say $3,000 less MSRP and some $3,000 over invoice. What should I begin bargaining with? Invoice or MSRP? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I am planning to upgrade my rx300 to a 7,8 seater. I had my heart set on the GX until I did some reading on these message boards. I don't see any competition worth looking at..ie volvo and mdx.. However, the thumping noise (mostly) and the wind noise is holding me back. Does this only affect some GXs or all of them? I was hoping to get lucky and buy one without problems. Is this possible? Most people on other boards rate this truck an 8+ and consumer reports has it as a recommended buy. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions? Should I buy or wait until 2005? Thanks!
