    My 1997 BMW 540 is also "lifetime" but BMW changed that to non-lifetime now and "bmw enthusiasts/shops" are also changing the fluid at 30K intervals on my model year and similar....

    I'm wondering on the 2008 LS460, is there a transmission service interval, i.e. drain and refill? Or is this a "lifetime" fluid?
