  1. well, you could keep the resonators and just replace the mufflers. flowmaster delta 40's can give you a nice throaty sound w/o an annoying drone.
  2. i'm using a NX kit on my GS 300 with only a 35 shot for now, just to test and make sure all the connections are working. the only problem is, I can hear the solenoids engaging, but no change in engine sound is present. any ideas as to why that is? thanks.
  3. yeah, i have a 98 GS 300 and when it hasn't been started for a few days (or just overnight) and the temperatures have been around freezing, the RPM's idle around 1200-1400. It doesn't seem to cause any issues. I tested it once and noticed that after the engine gets to its normal heat range operating temperature, the RPM's drop back down to a normal 400-800 RPM idle. hope this helped!
  4. what year is your GS 300? I have a 98 and built my own custom cold air intake. the car has about 61k miles on it and it still runs fine. you can definitely tell a performance difference in the engine at about 4200 RPM's. It's a pretty easy install as long as you know what you're doing. my friend and i did the one on mine and i've loved every minute of driving it.
  5. yeah, i have a GS 300 with flowmaster mufflers and they sound much better with the resonators removed. lexus puts in some pretty large resonators and with those gone, people will definitely know that a V8 is coming. i think magnaflow may offer resonators that you can put on if you want a real bassy sound.
