  1. 1991 LS400, 150K miles. Tachometer is reading approximately 50% of actual engine speed. What's the likely problem?
  2. The FM on my Nakamichi Premium Sound System on my '91 LS400 has gone bad, and I am looking for a replacement unit. Can anyone help with finding a source for a replacement unit? How about anyone who repairs these radios? If anyone has replaced this radio in this model year with an aftermarket unit, what have you used, and how do you like it? Head Unit, subwoofer amp, door speakers, subwoofer speaker?
  3. I am looking for a Nakamichi subwoofer amplifier for my '91 Lexus LS400. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Jerry
  4. Is this the Nakamichi subwoofer amplifier located in the trunk, behind the back seat, driver's side of car? I am looking for one for my '91 Lexus LS400. Is your's still available?
  5. I have a 91 LS 400 with a leaking LF air shock. This is the second time. I am considering replacing all four air struts with the conversion kit from Strutmaster. Does anybody have any experience with this kit? Would like to know everything I can about it before I order it. Thanks
  6. I have a '91 LS400 with 116,000 miles on it. Both front, and one rear, air struts have been replaced in the last five years. Recently, when the car is parked and not driven for two days or so, the front of the car drops all the way down, both sides equally. When I start the engine, the air suspension pumps back up fairly quickly, and I have no problem with maintaining ride height while driving. Since the problem is common to both sides, and only the front, I suspect a check valve, or something similar, which is supposed to hold the air pressure to both front struts when the engine is off. Possibly the Ride Height Control Valve #1? Has anyone else had this problem, and what was done to correct it? I want to have as much information in hand as I possibly can before going in to the Lexus dealership for repair. Thanks for your help.
