  4. yes it's brian ;) if its that wire....it coulda come from he changed the aftermarket wheels (unlikely though) maybe he also had aftermarket suspension and thats where he did it....maybe a chunk or piece of garbage on the street hit the wire under the car?????? who knows. and we r all novices until we start doing it u know....i learned from the sites ALOT. just try looking under the car and see if you notice a wire hanging or a ripped wire. yeah i recall them roads being rough....like jerseys roads! good luck sir.... if not... if u look at THIS post 1st pic u see is the speed sensor http://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension...on-install.html
  5. yes they are hubcentric and yes u need hub rings. get the aluminum ones.... here is a link all bout the g35's....n y wouldnt u upgrade to the 18" or 19" g35's? seems kinda silly to just upgrade from a 16 to a 17....wasnt aware the g35 had a 17 either....thought it was ONLY 18" or 19". im supposed to be aquiring some 19"'s from a good friend of mine for really cheap http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...tric-rings.html check the last page of this one.... http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...gs-pics-10.html

  8. no, just the one under the navi ecu in the trunk....i assuming u have the ML package then? u needing a amp? my oem ML amp will be for sale soon...
  9. i think he's going for a cheaper swap...the 1jz is normally ALOT cheaper than the 2jzgte
  10. Appreciated your instructions on how to remove it. It looked like such a puzzle to open or remove and your instructions make it such a simple manuever! It was a little more trickier to realize you have to unscrew the bulb counterclockwise. I was able to remove it, run out and buy the bulbs in a local auto supply store and have it all back together in less than an hour! Many thanks! good u got this fixed....im fixing to be running LEDS on mine so i gotta remove it again :)
  11. i will have my 2001 gs430 ML amp for sale shortly.....if your interested
  12. its brian....and ty....she's changed ALOT since that pic...in the middle of a major audio build followed by the rims (g35 19" and probably some cusco coilovers) then who knows im not sure why they put screw holes in them if we not using them though...seems more work for them.
  13. man its been so long since i did my brakes.... sorry had to go back and check my old brake post...you can see in the pics i dont have ne i dont have ne in my oem brakes BUT i got a brake job like 200 miles after getting the car so possibly thye didnt put them back on...when i put my rotora rotors on i never used ne and havent had ne problems...my old civic's had them...used to have to use a punch screwdriver to keep them from stripping, those screws sucked! http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=48686&hl=
  14. can u take a photo of the box? might be able to just bend it outta the way...not sure till i see it...i had rubbing issues on my right and trimmed the fender liner! :D all good now

  21. i agree with smooth...i would just look into a SRT bolt on kit.... http://www.swiftracing.com/SRT/default.aspx im not a fan of something important like a turbo kit and piecing it together with some ebay stuff....even though im a addiment ebayer, the important stuff like a turbo, fuel management, intake, exhaust i try not to cheap out on u know what i mean? good luck and keep us posted.... oh and im not saying nething wrong with piecing together a turbo kit.... but IMHO i would pass on that manifold...try full race http://www.full-race.com/ or someone.... SRT does make manifold btw not just kits
  22. You do need to remove the coupling from the old motor shaft and replace the coupling on the new shaft. This was not easy but check this link out, there's a ton of info on how to do this in this thread, post #214 has a good picture. Basically you need to support the coupling so you can pound the shaft out of the center of the coupling using a shaft of smaller diameter. That's the hard part. The easy part is using a vise to push it on the new shaft. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...ors-diy-15.html thats always been one of my fav DIY from that board....such creativity and ingenuity to figure that out...
  23. should ONLY be 4 screws in each just like ne other front seat BUT BE CAREFUL of the srs wires and the heating wires DONT just jerk the seat out after you unscrew them and i would recommend undoing the battery before you do this... y do u need to remove your seats btw?
  24. no detail place i know applys paint....you'll have to do it...hell im just gonna have my front bumper repainted...its def time
