  1. hmmmm well make sure your getting power to the motor also...i got a feeling its fuses or a blown motor sir. hopefully for you it will be that simple
  2. actually read it and you'll understand...pics there just to give you a visual http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f202/big-thr...-how-to-321330/
  3. u should have bought that plug or reused your oem one...i recently (last sat) shattered my differential and when i removed my plug OMFG it was metal shavings EVERYWHERE on that magnetic plug. fluid inside was clumpy silver looking! seriously....? that's really sounding like a diff man...does it clunk from park to reverse also? you might wanna take this in soon before it completely destroys the diff/gears/ring/pinion/etc IF its the diff. which like i said it seems to sound like it is don't worry though....supra TT pumpkin straight bolts and you get a LSD inside it...i wanted one, just couldn't find one cheaply. i got my replacement gs430 pumpkin for 200 shipped. you can use ANY gs series diff but depending on if you go back to the gs300 or the gs400/gs430 you'll have different gearing in the differential
  4. hahaha... OP....YOURS. 140 is nothing on a Lexus especially if you have all your maintenance up to date. have fun on your trip sir and be careful p.s. grammar is a lot more important on the boards than i thought it was :P
  5. um i dunno did you even try looking at that DIY i sent you....? start from there....make sure its not a short/rip/tear in there. as MOST of them are! i wouldn't pay ANYONE 1,200 or 4,400 for that....esp if its under a warranty. even if its not im not paying that
  6. if the blower isn't coming on.....that's your problem right there. check make sure its still plugged up, make sure it has power, and then check the fuses. your answering your own problems here......if blower isn't coming on that's your problem? if your talking bout the CL boards....(i think u have this same post over there) i haven't checked it this morning yet but who told you the fan speed gets stuck on high and cuts off forever? really....forever huh? i wish peoples home systems would do this....i would sell more furnaces/blower motors to techs who come into my work
  7. well ty for bringing up a post from 5 years ago to tell us that sir! hahahahaha you must really have an issue with it! Agreed tho no just wondered y u would thread bump something after 5 years to tell him u dont like his car....IF he still has the car im sure by now he has changed it or what not....it was just a odd thread bump to be negative bout dudes car. it wasnt even on topic
  8. u said u hear the condensor turn on....what about the blower? its located UNDER the glovebox towards the floor. does it come on?
  9. check the differential while your at it....it shouldn't be a motor mount or a tranny mount but anything is possible. start with the basis first and work your way down the list
  10. either way like he said most older cars can be helped. remember wires will/do fail after years and lose their conductivity!
  11. welcome but this isn't really just a audio upgrade....everyone's car can get some form of help with better grounding. or he could do a big three upgrade.
  12. is this non nav climate control assy? if so just replace it and see if it continues to do this....they are cheap from junkyards
  13. well ty for bringing up a post from 5 years ago to tell us that sir!
  14. its just a grounding system....they work well when hooked up to best spots and when i had my Honda i fooled around on the dyno to find the best spots as the ones they recommended worked but i wanted to see if i could extract extra from it. and you REALLY wont notice the increase in hp, torque or throttle response. i mean its really not substantial. i might go back to one since I'm doing my audio build for better grounding
  15. awesome...i would like to sue u....now hand over my $$$ and lets all move along quickly...if u dont know why, your a lawyer im sure you can think of something to help me sue you for! :D
  16. take it to someone else...either a tranny specialist or a dealer or a certified lexus/toyota mechanic. get it away from that shop.. i broke somethin in my diff this weekend too....i think mine is just the carrier bearing though

  19. yeah fishing line and then some goo gone to remove residue...
  20. Do a search for door lock actuator, You can purchase a new one for $2-300.00 or if you can fine the little motor (FC-280PT-22125) that is currently hard to find, you can rebuild the actuator. There are a couple of members looking for the motors including myself but the companies only sell in large quantity. here check these out.... http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...uators-diy.html http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...-actuators.html
  21. just so u know, this is the gs section sir
