a lowering spring is just a spring that sits on the stock or aftermarket shock! a coilover is the shock/spring all built into one package! better ride quality and easier to align/lower i presume! dunno not really sure how to describe a coilover....... yeah they claim the gs series to be a lifetime fuel filter and i have never heard of any complaints or problems but that doesnt mean there arent any! what year is your car? where is the flatspot? wot or beginning of throttle? or just anytime? have you thought maybe your injectors might be clogged instead of the fuel filter dirty? i have a 2001 i have a k & n air filter and i run FULL synthetic mobil oil and filter! i wouldnt put ANY system cleaner in my car though, mopst of them are just garbage or gimmicks! and you wont see ANY mileage difference from changing your oil! for the most part they help regulate your emissions but they will affect your gas mileage if they are bad! did u use oem ones whenu replaced it at 50k? yeah u can use a o2 simulator and have the code scaned out or u can fix it and it will go away! maybe you just have a bad switch......i cant imagine all the actuators are going out! hell maybe a loose wire......... have you checked for continuity throughout the switches? i would break out a ohm meter and make sure your getting the right voltage to each and then check if u have a loose wire! i just find it hard to imagine ALL of them would be going dead at once.........this car ever had any flood damage? ok finished my calipers and hats........did do the calipers on the other side but ran out of black for the hats so i will finish them this week! also clear coated stickers on so shoudlnt have to worry with them fading and getting dirty! also did my grill check old post! will have tint done this week............ 5 on all side windows, 15 on back, and 35 on whole front! shortly after will be doing a rear view camera! dunno it shouldnt have any bearing on it i wouldnt think?did u have them change your tranny oil while u were there or just your engine oil

i really haven't modded mine yet although when i do im looking at a (custom) intercooled supercharger/header/intake/exhaust but i wanna do a supra break upgrade and suspension first....... i have the 4.3 liter v8 where as u have the 4.0 liter v8 they are essentially the same motor! so most everything will fit! im going for a classy semi stealthy upgrade but yeah your right, most the mods on this are costly! i could be wrong as this could be a model change or something but my 2001 gs430 has the nav in the right corner of my trunk and i can pop my cd out....so i dunno if there was something special bout the 99's or what but i dunno y u couldnt upload a new disc with fresh maps! i just did! welcome to the club! i think they didn't do the fold down seat as its not considered luxurious if the seat folds down! and they make a tray compartment for the new gs's and i have been told it fits on the old gs's! it removes the ashtray and u can store 2 pairs of glasses! as far as the floaty thing......I'm running Michelin energy mxv4's and mine is almost "float" free! i will be getting some stiffer suspension shortly! i used to use exxon........but now i use kroger (i get 10 cents off at the pump if i spend 100 at the store) and i get a extra 5 cents off for having a kroger mastercard!
