  1. Congrats, I was looking for a LS430 but really couldn't get one at the moment. Happy with my 1995 LS400 with 130K. Runs great Suppose I'll wait to get a used LS460 someday.
  2. What are your preferences for new rotors for a 1995 LS400? Stock, drilled or slotted? Ceramic or semi-metallic pads? Recommendations for vendors and/or prices? Has anyone purchased rotors from a specific vendor on e-bay? Thanks- techmech74
  3. Bought a 1995 LS400 Black on Black with 131K miles in December 2007. Getting 22.5 mpg and about 500 miles for a full tank
  4. Bought a 1995 LS400 (Black on Black) with 131K. Engine was rather dusty and dirty. Every owner has their own views as to keeping an engine clean. I'm one of those owners that like to have a clean engine so as to spot leaks and/or problems in the future. I wipe as much of the engine as I can with some clean rags and brush sludge with a soft toothbrush using Simple Green as a cleaner. Simple Green is a mild, non-toxic degreaser that does a great job. Then use WD-40 and Armor All to make it shine. I've done this procedure on about 10 ten cars and have never had a problem and get complimented by the mechanics who who see it.
  5. Hello to All the Proud LS400 owners: Just purchased a 1995 LS400 with 130K miles. Need to find out the true facts on what size wheels I could upgrade to without altering the suspension. I've read so many stories that I'm really getting confused. I've got 225/60/16 wheels on the car now and am looking at possibly going to 245/45/18. Give me your expertise Club members Thanks- techmech74
