  1. nevermind for now, after looking into previous posts from the LS forums, someone had the exact same problem...and the dealership didnt know what it was, turned out to be he/she needed brake shims...so im getting some put on tomm along with new pads...if that doesnt fix it, ill post again...
  2. I replaced the factory rotors with some brembo drilled and slotted ones about a year ago now...really just for looks beings that i put new rims on...anyway, they have been making a wierd clicking noise lately...i took my car to the dealership recently to have them looked at and they said they didnt see any problems with rubbing or anything...i know my front pads are needing to be replaced soon...my guess is that because the pads are low that maybe theres a little play inbetween the pad and the rotor causing the pad to move around? but it also makes the noise when i apply the brakes too?...i really dont know how else to describe the noise other than clicking, and it seems to be coming from my rear brakes? has anyone ever had similar issues before or know what might be the source of the noise?
  3. i am looking at 2 GS300's right now and i dont know which to go with, one is a 1998 with 79000 miles and pearl white but has 20" giovani chrome rims and a japan 4 piece body kit, and alpine 3 screen video system, its in excellent condition and lowerd 1 inch it has $12000 in extras in it but he said he hasnt done any mechanical work except for regular maintance on it like oil changes and belts. and the other is a 2000 black with stock 16" chrom rims and a fatory wing but only has 60000 miles and is 2 years newer....they are both priced at $23000, retail on the 2000 is $25000 and the 1998 is $19500....which would be a better deal. am i goin to have to worry about repairs on the 98' soon because of the high milage?...any comments will help, thanks
