  1. Good luck. I posted a while back looking for comments on various exhaust and no a single reply. -Nick
  2. Thanks for the info. I thought that it would like OK without lowering but once I put the wheels on it was obvious that it need to be lowered an inch or so. As for the Eibach springs, do they settle much past an inch. I have had several Honda's in which I have installed Eibachs and they settled way past what they claimed. Thanks in advance, -Nick
  3. I just purchased a set of 19x8.5 +42 up front and 19x9.5 +45 out back for my '98 GS400. My question is, if I use the Eibach Pro-kit, will there be a problem with rubbing on the front wheels. I know the preferred offset is around 35-38 but I couldn't pass up this deal. Any help will be much appriciated. Thannks Nick EDIT: I am running a 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 if that helps any Here is a picture of the car
  4. I am looking for pictures of 400's with the HKS exhuast. I am looking at purchasing this kit and would like to see how it looks on the car. Also, what is sounds like. Any sound clips would be great. Thanks Nick
  5. So today I pulled into the garage and hit the switch to close the moonroof. It closed all the way and they proceded to open approx. half way. It did this several times. I had to used the key in the door to close it most of the way and then the switch to close it the rest. Any ideas of what could be causing this? Thanks, Nick
  6. I have a similar problem with my 400. After balancing many times, I happened to notice the one of the wheels was bent while spin balancing. I then check the others and 3 out of 4 were slightly bent. This was just enough that the wheels could balance out perfect but once up to speed the wheels hit their resonance frequency and all hell broke loose. It feels like the car is hopping. You might check this out. It was the last thing I would have though of. -Nick
  7. http://owners.lexus.com You are able to request 1 Owners manual per 30 days. I believe that they are free of charge. Someone can correct me if I'm wring. -Nick
  8. It is a 98 GS400 with 72,xxx miles. This occurs everytime you start it. I am thinking that it might need a tune-up. Thanks Nick
  9. When I start my 400 it seems to take a couple of seconds of cranking to for the motor to start. Is this normal? If not, any ideas of potential problems? My previous car was a honda and it started almost instantly. Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks -Nick
  10. My GS is in need of a brake service and I am looking into replacing the rotors with a set of cross-drilled or slotted rotors. I am looking for comments on the various brands and any likes/dislikes. Any help or suggestions will be much appriciated. Thanks -Nick
