Yes It happened to me too, and only couple day for it to be normal. It seemed like the gas engine need to run more than normal to charge the new battery.

I have the same problem with you. I was almost hit the car in front of me one time. I'm trying to do more research this problem, It is danger.

...and what's very annoying in 400h when you accelerate fast-the engine is not as loud... Really? That's annoying because the engine was too quiet? Boy, you can be easily annoyed :-). But I have driven the RX350 before I bought the RX400h, and I thought the 350 was a lot slower in acceleration when entering freeway. Plus, I thought the 350 was less spacious than the 400h (but maybe it's just my imagination since they are almost identical). I have not driven the GX yet, but I think it should be even more comfy and stable since it's a larger vehicle. I just hate the MPG on the GX. I bought my RX400H in 2007 new, I'm loving it. Acceleration , MPG are great. The only problem is the wind noise on high way , I had to remove the roof rack because my smart dealer could't find out that problem. I'm a happy man now :P

Of what good is it to know the OAT is below -30C...?? Oh It is good to know that my $ 84000 suv can only read to -30.c, anything below that is numb, anyway I still love my lexus.

My 400h only can read the temperature out side to - 30.c , This is no match for my Yellowknife's weather like today we have the temperature down to -50.c but the outside temperature gauge shows only - 30. <_<

yea if I had to repeat the install I probably could have installed it in 2 hours knowing I don't have to remove all of the under carriage bolts in the wheel wells and getting the bumper back on was a pain in the !Removed! along with bolting the bumper guard up took almost 2 hours to get everything tight and secure since it weighs like 50 lbs and I had no help whatsoever. That is a great job Neo, Is there anyway to install it without remove the bumper?
