I see in the FEB 2008 CR, the Toyota Camry V6 XLE, pretty much the same engine,transmission etc as the ES350 was removed from the recommended list and dropped to a reliability rating of "Worse than Average" CR commented they could no longer recommend it with that reliability rating. Probably not good news for ES350 owners.

If you don't want to mess around with hidden menus simply talk louder. I increased my voice level and that solved the problem. Dave

My ES350 has developed a loud whsitling type wind noise from some where in the rear of the vehicle. A very high pitched whistle that increases in loudness with more speed. From the front seat, one might think the noise coming from the back doors. When seated in the back seat, it sounds like it is yet in back of you, rear window, trunk? I haven't seen any similar complaints. The noise is loud enough with the radio off to interfere with normal conversation and is annoying.
