  1. I have a1996 ES300 with a CD changer problem, when asked to play it shows err on the display any thoughts
  2. "We ONLY guarantee the part will fit the vehicle listed in the description. If your vehicle was not originally equipped with the EXACT part listed, it is your responsibility to consult a dealer to see if it will fit your application." That is what originally brought the question to mind... Thanks, Marty You asked which radios were interchangeable? I was in the same situation a few months back. My friend owns a 97 ES300 and I have a 98. My friends radio went out and I picked up a used radio from a salvage yard out of a 99. We checked compatibility and the 99 was the improved radio and fit both my 98 and his 97 with no problems. I would suggest that you upgrade instead of downgrading.(Use a 99 radio in a 98, a 98 in a 97. not 97 in 97 or 98 in a 99) as far as the model #, I can't tell you. All I know is that the radios fit and work. I replaced my LCD which was much cheaper and easier to replace that replacing the radio. Good luck in locating cross-reference #'s
