  1. Thank you very much. I did take them out and inspect them. They're seem to be working fine when applying 12V. Is there any more place to take a look. Thanks in advance. I believe the Oil Control Valve (OCV) has a filter associated with it. If that filter is clogged, the OCVs may test out OK, but they may not be passing any oil (or not enough oil to function properly). Have you pulled the front valve cover to see if there is any sludge? If you see any signs of sludge, there is a good chance the OCV filter is clogged. Might not hurt to run a cycle of Auto Rx through it. I did take both OCVs out the inspect them. There's no sign of sludge. They look pretty clean. Should I have them clean by parts washer to make sure? One more thing, the P1349 code refers to bank1, right? But also it refers to left side which is radiator side. Bank 1 in firewall side. So, which one is correct? I should start with left side or bank 1? Thank you all for the inputs. Should I take a look at the VVT controller assembly? How can I test it to determine VVT controller assembly bad? Could the camshaft pos sensor be a possibility as well? Thank you all. -NG

  3. Hi All, My 1999 ES300 got high idle and CEL on with TRAC OFF. I had P1349 following with P301, P303,P305 and P300 codes. I understand that i's related to VVT system on bank 1. Anyone could help me out. Thank you very much. -NG
  4. Hello You All, I really need your advice. I'm replacing the timing belt for my car, 98 GS400. The problem is to replace the camshaft seal on the driverside. Any advice from you all. Is there any way to replace that seal without remove the whole camshaft? It's really hard to take that camshaft pulley off to replace that seal. Any other ways to do this? Thank you very much. I do appreciate it. Thanks again. -NG
  5. Ryan, You can get one from the lexus dealer, OE for less than 900. 736.67 brand new from dealer. Try to call them to find out. -NG.
  6. Hello John_Letour, I have the same code as yours, P1130 & P1135 - Manufacturer Controlled Fuel & Air Metering. What did you do to fix the problem please. Did you replace the Sensors or Mass Air Flow Meter to correct the codes. Thank you very much. -NG
