I took my car into my trusted mechanics shop, and they found that the water pump has been leaking onto the timing belt causing it to erode. He told me that he wouldn't feel comfortable fixing this himself and I should take it to the dealer to get a new timing belt and to fix the leak. Anyone know about how much this is going to run me?

Thank you all for your help! :D I went to Exhaust Pro this morning. The problem is broken engine mounts. So...they contacted Lexus to get the parts and it will be fixed by Monday :( (I'm not very patient). Thank you all agian! You were a great help!

When I start my car, it sounds noisy (like a Volkswagen), but when you step on the accelerator, you need ear plugs. The further you step on the accelerator the louder it gets. It also doesn't seem to have that much power any more. Does it sound like an exhaust problem?? Model: ES300 Year: 1994 Mileage: 101000
