  1. Hi! I had the same issue with my 07 IS250 and its Dunlop-17"-Tires. I switched to Michelin-16"-tires. It's not much - but noticeable - more quiet in die cabin now. It's also a little bit more comfortable on uneven roads now. linn
  2. So? Nobody has changed the system yet?? linn
  3. How do I get to the original sub? Do I have to remove the back seats first? linn
  4. Just a guess: Pull the fuse and see, if the cd-changer ejects the discs. You could also try to press the eject-button for a couple of seconds. (usually, this is the way to eject all discs at once) linn
  5. Yes, it's definitely the daylight saving time-setting in the menu. I have to change it twice a year ;) linn
  6. My '07-IS250 doesn't. Even the user-manual says: "Changing shift ranges in S mode Shift the shift lever to the S position and operate the shift lever or shift paddle switch."
  7. I think it is possible to change gears manually using the paddels without changing the shift lever from D...
  8. Hi! I am experiencing vibrations on my steeingwheel ALWAYS when driving on rough surfaces. (17" rims) My dealer told me this seems to be normal. However, he lend me another IS250 for comparison - same result. Can this be true? Why am I driving a RWD-car when I still feel disturbances in the steeingwheel? kr, linn
  9. Hi! Is there any additional audio settings-menu beside the "standard-menu"? (Nav/Mark Levinson) linn
  10. Hi! Does anyone have detailed informations how to remove the front door panels? (and how to get to the sub?) Thanks a lot! linn
  11. Nope, foot on the brake, pressed the button, engine tried to start, and then died. Even not after you stopped the engine the last time before??
  12. To know the wattage is not enough, you have to know the sensitivity! (this gives the information, how loud a speaker plays - you can't say how fast a car goes if you know it has 200hp; if you don't know the sensitivity of each of the speakers, the result could be that e.g. the midrange plays much louder than before, but the bassrange much less - this will sound horrible, even if you installed the best speakers!) The cheapest and easiest way to improve the sound would be to "hack" the DSP of the ML-System. The factory-setup is bad and the sound-options-menu influences the wrong frequencies DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A KIND OF "HIDDEN MENU" WHERE YOU CAN CHANGE MORE THAN THE STANDARD-SETTINGS? linn
  13. Did you "play" with the radio, nav etc.? It happens to me quite often wenn I use to play around and press the Start-Button a couple of times without starting the engine! linn
  14. I've got this option: If you are just a little kind of an audiophile: Forget it ;) DIY will never work on the 2nd gen IS, there are too many speakers and nobody knows the sensitivity of them. (if you put just 14 good speakers that fit into the IS, it might sound even worse) linn
  15. Anyone knows if any manufacturer offers speakers (or anything else that improves the sound) specially designed for the IS? linn
