What is the difference between the 2008 GS350 and the 2009 GS350?

I have a GS350 2008 model and I have noticed that when I have a passenger in the front seat that when that passenger gets out the seat belt alarm dings for about 15-20 seconds. Is this normal? I took it to the Lexus dealer and they told me that it is normal. I have also noticed that when I have a passenger in the front seat and after getting out of the vehicle I use the button on the door handle to arm the car. I have seen issues with this where it seems like the car doesn't arm and the lights have stayed on for like 10 minutes. I took it to the dealer and they said that they couldn't find anything. The arming issue I have only seen it on a few occassions. I just wanted to know if anybody else has experienced the same problem. It seems like to me that the sensor on the passenger seat doesn't seem to realize quick enough that there is not a passenger there anymore. Please let me know if you have had similar issues. Thanks

I am not sure why you would want to buy in Canada unless you can avoid paying taxes. But most states make you pay taxes no matter where you bought the car. I bought the 2008 lexus fully loaded with ML stereo, Navi, XM for 46k not including taxes.

I got my first scratch on my 2008 GS350. It only took 30 days and I am very upset. I was driving down the road and somebody's license plate came off their car and hit the bumper of my car. The plate went through the clear coat and into the plastic. I took it to the person that Lexus uses to do touchup and paint on the lexus tradein. He told me that since they could not do it because the parking sensors on the bumper don't just simply pop out it would require that it be taken to a body shop. I could put a license plate in the front and it would cover up the scratch. If there is anybody here on this forum from Little Rock, AR that can recommend a good place to take my vehicle to fix this please let me know. :cries:

I bought the 08 GS350 three weeks ago at park place lexus in Plano, TX. When I asked them about iPod controller he told me that the dealer does not do that. I would love to have the iPod so it can be controd via the Navi. I love the car only thing I noticed different between the 07 & 08 is the side mirror. I am not very familiar with the 07 version.

Let me know if you find something for the iPod where you can control it using the navi.

One thing that I did is remove all the dash from the numbers example xxx-yyy-zzzz to xxxyyyzzzz. Once i did this with all the numbers it transfered my whole directory in a matter of seconds. Previously when i tried it would fail. This is on a new Treo 755.

I may not be much of a expert since I just bought my car few days back. I drove it from Dallas to Little Rock and on the way something hit my windshield it looked like the size of a white board eraser. It hit my windshield while I was doing 80 mph and it was loud. I was sure there would be crack or atleast a chip on windshield but I looked the next morning after washing the car there was nothing. Thank God

Hello everybody, I just bought the new lexus GS350 and drove it from Dallas to Little Rock. To get all the bugs off the front I was the car I washed it after only having it for one day. I used McGuires soap and sheepskin mitt to clean. Then I used a Shammy to dry it off. After drying it seems there are swirl marks on the car is there anything I can do to get this removed. HELP!!!! Abe :cries:
