hey sorry to hear about this all but hes right.... sometimes they mechanics do try to talk you into selling a nice car that has barely any damage done to it just so they can get it and sell it. my brother's friend used to work at a dealership and the mechanic told some guy with an A4 audi that his car needed over $15,000 in parts to fix the problem, meanwhile all he needed was a new power steering pump and he bought it off the moron for $2,500. i would look into other mechanics or just wait for the insurance guy for sure. good luck!

Hey all I have been looking for an SC400 now for about 1 yr. and I think I found the one. It is a 1994 SC400, black, tan leather, 97k, all the service records, mostly highway miles, diamond clean paint! all for $8,500.... Think I should go for it? B)

Hey all I am brand new to this forum but I was just gonna see if any of you out there live in the Washington state area with a 1992-1996+ SC400 for sale. I am looking for a pearl white, white, black, or bright red one with less than 160k on it. I would prefer tan leather but any color interior is ok! I am looking to spend high $6,000-low $7,000.
