  1. Has anyone changed their own cabin air filter for 08 is250 or have a good link as to how to do it ?
  2. Yeah I read that when I purchase the car. I found it interesting how they had worn down. You do feel more of the road with the 18's
  3. They are Bridgestone's touring tire. I might of been a little rough on them but geez not even a year? The car is to have fun right ;) I'm thinking I'll keep this one through the life of the body style and then upgrade to the 350 or whatever offering they introduce.
  4. Yeah I have a 250. I ended up going with the PILOT EXALTO 2 by Michelin. They feel good on the road and handle pretty well.
  5. I just replaced my stock tires after 15k miles and they edges were pretty worn as if i was running low psi in my tires. I wasnt really monitoring tire wear, my mistake, but i havent had the car a year. Any thoughts? I didn't see too much on the forum about the Turanza's. Im running the staggered 18's I also might have been cornering pretty hard on them too. This is also my first car that isnt running all terrains.
  6. yeah mine does that too. its barely noticeable. no reason to get panties bunched up. It actually sounds kinda cool
  7. Oh man they are awesome when you want control of your shifting like in traffic or mountains.
  8. Its a little different when you are in sport mode. Go to your display mode that shows the gears. When you shift it defaults you to 4th. That basically means that is the highest gear you will hit. So if you at a dead stop it will still take you 1 through 4. If you paddle up to six and you start from a dead stop it will take you 1 - 6 so on and so forth.
  9. I have 1000 miles on mine and MPG is getting better with each tank. It was like 22 for the first tank. Im at about 24. I do a mix of city and HWY.
  10. Haha thats awesome. 1998 Lincoln Town Car (Gross) I drove it to HS 1997 Ford F 150 4x4 (Green Machine) 1995 Chevrolet Silverado (Brown Frown) 1993 Lexus SC400 1999 Dodge Dakota 4x4 2008 Lexus IS 250 B)
  11. Most of the time for stuff like this you need to take it to the dealer along with your registration or some sort of proof of ownership. Not positive but thats what I've had to do to program transponder keys for other cars. Most of the time you have to take the car in too so if you dont have a spare you might be having a tow truck expense.
  12. There might not be as many RWD's because of where you live. I just bought a 250 and out of the 100 or so IS' the dealer had, maybe 10 were AWD. We dont really need them because we dont get snow. If we did I would have bought a AWD.
  13. Im in the market too and from what I've seen there isnt much difference in price if you go from a new to a used. especially for the 350. all the ones I've seen are up there with the new and they have some mileage on them. I'm going with the new. Especially since it looks like most people are buying tires and brakes at about 15k miles. Your savings will go for new tires and brakes.
