  1. do not know if this will help but we had a strange rear end noise also. For us it turned out the it was coming from the spare tire mounting once it was tighten no more strange noises.
  2. It also happened on our 2005 RX330 Thundercloud Edition. I got the same bad news from the dealer that others have gotten, and like them I am not very happy that Lexus sells a complete window when just a price of trim is needed. I decided to bring this to the dealership management and requested they contact Lexus on my behalf. While I may be the only one who thinks like this, I do not think a piece of trim should just fall off and have no way of being replaced (just the trim). I asked him to ask for a good will repair since it will not be likely to find the piece I need in a breakage yard. The thundercloud edition was the one they built in japan and there were not a large number of them.
  3. This is my 1st post to this forum so please be gentle. I have been reading about the hacks available to the NAV systems to permit you to enter destination data while moving. But, from my searching in seems that these only last for as long as the car is running. Is there aryway to make these changes permanent? I have been told by the local Lexus dealer that you can now make changes to the NAV system while the vechile is running. Therefore I wonder if they can make the same changes to my 05 RX330. I think he stated that this started wit hthe 06 models.
