Does anyone have info. on the IS300 that will feature a new body, possibly available as hard top coupe. My dealer said its definitely coming out. I drive a '93 SC400 and I'm waiting for this car to come out so I don't have to settle for a Beamer 3 series. Thanks

Hello from Atl, Georgia. My 93 SC400 has about 118,000 miles on it and is starting to really run up some big bills at Lexus service. Last month I payed $850 for a new radiator. I just took it in because the engine light is on and they said I need two new O2 sensors -- $300; Rear brakes $250 and my oil gasket is leaking $400. First off, its an authorized Lexus dealership, so I do trust them, but then again they are in the business of sales and I have no clue if I need this stuff. The car is running ok, albeit like a ten year old car. I am wondering if it is worth paying for all these problems and if I should just get $7000 for the car right now?

Hey, I just joined the site. I have a 93 SC400 with about 115,000 miles. I took it to a reputable Lexus Dealership, Henessey in ATL, to get rid of trac and check engine lights. They wanted to charge me $350 for an o2 sensor, but I refused because inspection is not for another year (hope I'm not harming the envrnmt too much). Anyway those lights have remained on for about 2 months and the car runs fine. I was wondering if my trac light is on permanently, does my trac system not work in rainy weather for example? Is it a serious problem to not have both engine and trac lights on, and do I need an o2 sensor? The car also makes some scrathing noises when turning, maybe its just the age. Also, how many miles can the sc rack up before it fails. I really appreciate the feedback.
