  1. :cries: Hi Justin, My wife and I both have 2006 GS300 awd. We experienced the same problem. At 28,000 miles my wife got a flat tire. I thought maybe she ran over a nail or something. The tires are the Dunlop run flats also. I found that the tire was down to the steel beads. Only on the inside edge. Only about an inch was worn. The rest of the tire was worn evenly and probably could have gone another 10,000 miles without any problem. I immediately checked the other 3 tires. Same situation. She had her tires rotated at 15,000 miles. Then I checked my GS and found the same exact problem. I had about 24,000 miles on my GS. I called the dealer where she leased her car. The service writer told me that they were designed to wear that way. He said we were lucky to get that many miles because they were a soft compound. When he told me that they were designed to wear this way, I asked him how long he had worked in the car business. He replied 6 months. I said to him that explained his explanation and that he did not know what the hell he was talking about. I am very aware of soft compounds. They should wear evenly, depending on air pressure in the tires. I have never had my tires rotated on my GS and my tires wore exactly the same. I proceeded to call Lexus in CA. They were very little help. They told me the same thing that I really should not complain because I already got more than 20,000 miles on the tires. My lease is 4 years and I am aloud 60,000 miles. At the end of the lease I will have replaced 3 sets of tires. At approximately $1500.00 a set. Let me think about my next non Lexus purchase. I will have spent $100,000 dollars on the 2 cars plus about $7500.00 on tires. Sounds to me like I need to get out of retirement. I spent 22 years in the car business. I have owned 135 cars in my lifetime. Sports cars muscle cars you name it. It was an absolute insult the way the dealer and Lexus handled this problem. We have owned 4 Lexus vehicles. NO MORE!!!!!! THEIR LOSS and mine. Good luck Jim
