You bring up a question I've had. I'm looking into an 04 or 05 GS430, and wondered what I can really expect out of it once I install the SRT intake. I don't want to / can't afford to do much more modification than that, and mainly don't want to change the sound of the exhaust. So, based on your experience, have you been able to notice an appreciable difference from when your GS was stock? I don't even know, can the GS430 smoke the tires from a standstill?

I'm also in the process of deciding between different models of the GS series. I had a GS300, and always felt like it deserved more power. How much difference in power do you really feel between the GS3 and the GS430? I know the specs, but I've never driven a 300HP car before, and not really sure if it's going to feel that much better than the 300 did. Anyone here be able to comment on what to expect out of the 430 compared to the 300?

I am considering a purchase of a 2003 - 2005 GS430, and looking into updating the nav system with the latest gen once I have the car. My question is, what exactly changes when you update the nav? Is it just the map itself, or do you end up with a different interface and possibly different capabilities? I read that the 2005 version added some functionality, such as bluetooth and the camera option. Would I find more options with an upgraded 2003 model or an upgraded 2005 model? Forgive me, I forget which Gen each of those is (4 and 5 i think). MUCH appreciated. Been reading posts all night - great board.
