  1. Here is a stupid question. How do i do that? I'm sure it has to be taken to a dealer. Do you just walk in and tell them you want to update the NAV software and is it free of charge or does that all depend on where I go???
  2. self explanatory to you smooth :-( that looks like French to me and i believe the OP is looking for help in deciphering those codes. I'm kinda guessing they have something to do with the O2 sensors because of the bank 1 and 2 thing. But, I'm sure I'm prolly wrong.
  3. The factory NAV in our 2002 IS300 Sportcross does the same thing. You have to hit the ok button and once you get going over i believe between 5-10 mph it will not let you enter any information into the unit.

    Stupid Is...

Pay cash NC, Cash , My man, Cash Cash is KING ;) Or you could pay with Cheetos and beer.................. I couldn't resist............... a bit off topic. You dcfish Sir are prolly the biggest user of the two smileys bumpin beer mugs that i have seen on this site. lol.. That is all.
  5. i don't mean to step on your toes spawn, but, this is only true if it's ever been reported in that condition. Carfax can only tell you what someone else has told them you know.
  6. or use some duct tape :whistles: lol I'm so kidding. I'd go with jibbby on this one since he knows bout the leak already as having happened on other cars already.
  7. I have only seen that happen withc ars that have air suspension. Basically it has air bags for shocks in the back. Helps smooth out the ride a LOT more. I'm just not sure and a bit surprised that you might actually have that on your car. I'm sure there is someone here that has had more personal experience with your kinda car.
  8. Depends where you go as in dealer vs Midas or mom and pop joint. I believe most places charge bout 100 bux for a four wheel alignment, But, I can't say that for sure since i haven't gotten one done yet. I got it done for free when i was in school.
  9. i think we'd need a lil more info on what the car is doing when u try to crank. Like is it making a clicking sound like a relay, is it even TRYING to start like a REAL slow turning starter or nothing at all?? Usually in my experience with other cars where the lights come on real dim, it's just a bad connection at the battery cable. Either the cable is loose or corroded like you said. Try cleaning the corrosion and making sure the terminal on the cable end hasn't gotten spread open too far or something. Might just be something simple as that. Let us know what happens. Pe@ce love and chicken grease from the middle east.
