  1. I thought that pic looked similar to the CI but it isn't. BTW i prefer the racer look like the black altezza taillights, roofwings,widebody kits, racing rims, GT wings, and other things like abflug eyelids. i guess many of you guys must of be those VIP kind of guys.
  2. you can try ebay? other than that my previous owner drove mines offroad and everywhere like there was no tomorrow. redlining it,drifting and all that abusive stuff to this baby. i usually go to a shop where they sell aftermarket parts like overhere we have Miyuki Motorsports shop and they can hook me up with OEM parts from Toyota Japan. so i guess you can probably hit it up at some racing parts shop or maybe Pep Boys..
  3. i once had that problem too on my 93 sc300, later on the mechanic told me that the tranny is shot. hopefully that isn't the answer otherwise this is bad news. other than that it could be the reason you might do a sparkplug change that might do the trick. my car died on me too when my car came to a stop and slow as it idles the RPM goes down and then dies.

Yeah, the problem is that superchargers been getting more attention around the tuning scene for awhile now like the 350z and the many other cars like Honda and Acuras had been getting some from Jackson Racing. What had become of us NA SC300 owners who was thinking....Twin Turbo 2jz?been done...turbo naT?been done too...Supercharged 2JZ-GE? i was wondering how much power can it make. the only one i can find is the one from Vortech that they had a kit done on a IS300. Does anyone know of a supercharger kit for a sc300?

  7. i don't know much, but i just recommend to just repaint to your stock color that way they don't have to do a whole total repaint. Just the outside. i may seem a little bit expensive, but at least it'll save you the trouble. other than that i can't help you. other than that you can try to use your waxing kit. some products would claim to regloss your paint. i dunno.
  8. Thi, which kit did you get because i'm pretty much interested too in the kit. This may sound crazy, but i actually deliver pizza in my daily driven sc300. so at night i can barely see with my stock lights.
  9. or should i stick with the stock motor and go all out? NA all the way? the reason i might do this is because the reason that im not a big drag fan.don't get me wrong i still like drag, but im more of a circuit,autocross,drifting type of guy. i just felt the car might be able to get into it's full potential if i was to get it to be tunedr NA. i'm not sure though, but i haven't heard a sc300 going NA all the way. kinda like the NA tuned 86 corollas. some people can get it to be up to 11k revs like takumi on initial d. i've also seen other cars that went NA were doing pretty good. well, at least the advantage of the 2jzge and gte motor is that at least the manual transmission bolts on easily without any hassles. a manual transmission is also what im looking for i mainly wanted the 6 speed, but i can also settle 4 a 5 speed. i actually found a 5 speed 4 $695 off of a 93/94 tranny.
  10. yeah... i might go with the v8 or the 2jz which can make big bangs for small bucks compared to the v8.
  11. don't buy it i've already lost 1200 bucks for a bodykit and TSII hood that im supposed to get but they closed down their account and took off with the money. don't buy on ebay. you can't trust most of the ppl on ebay anyways. the guy i that did that to me was a big power seller too.
  12. i used to drive a 97 hyundai accent GL sedan. i grew to respect those who tune accents with the 2.0 beta I/Beta II engines. they were rated to make up to around 420HP with stock internals. even more when you do mod the internals. im only referring to the 2.0L engines though. Before that my mother bought me a 95 Mitsubishi Galant S. I didn't like it until ive seen the VR4 models. it made my childhood dream car (Eclipse GSX) seemed obsolete and from thereon i always wanted those Galant VR4's that i hardly ever seen in the states. sometime around that i had this EVO syndrome where i couldn't stop thinking about DSM EVOs. it was like my drugs. :) lol.....

I was wondering if which motor was best. the 2jz-gte or the 1uz-fe.im planning on using this car for daily driving and work, but at the same time i wanted a good amount of a smooth ride and fast ride. i was actually suprised that the 1uz was doing better MPG than my sc300. i actually found the 1uz around 100K miles and cost about $2,495 from a scrapyard. the 2jz is also from the scrapyard and it costs $1,200-$1,500 and it also needs a new core. the 2jz comes with only the engine,wiring harness, and ecu only. no turbos, piping, intercooler, or the rest of the turbo parts are there. yeah if anyone can tell me anything than it would help.
  14. There is quite a number of kits from www.visracing.com they have kits for the sc like cyber 2 and invaders 1/2.
  15. i wanted to know if a tanabe rear supra strut bar will fit my 93 sc300 and who makes those black headlight led projectors i see them all the time on ebay for the sc300?
