  1. Yes, Autozone should have them take them in and match them up. <_<
  2. Push the harness back in fully, press the clip down to release it and pull it out. <_<
  3. Arent they all made by the same company? ← Yes, that would be DEI as I stated :chairshot: The only negative thing I have to say about any of the newer DEI transponder remotes, the one with the screen, is that they are anywhere from $70 on EBay(no warranty) to $140 from an authorized dealer(warranty). It only comes with one remote and the contacts tend to break off the cicuit board(design defect) after about a year or 2. I have both the viper and the clifford and both remotes broke the exact same place. One is used rarely and the other all the time.
  4. I just took it in for it's 15k mile service last month, I was assuming they checked that. I'll check it at lunch today, but that shouldn't be the problem. Our dealership so far has been great, no scew ups or screw overs, but mistakes do happen. I'll check. If it is off, then I'm getting a free trip inspection/tune up out of this. After all, who knows what else they may have messed up? ← Here's what happens as the pads wear the fluid gets low! <_<
  5. Viper, python, avital, clifford and hornet are all DEI products, so any are good. I have the clifford RS3 on mine. <_<
  6. Yes, you must carefully pry with a butter knife or push the lip of the cluster down. You won't tear or damage anything if you insert the knife about an inch or 2 in as the vinyl is only on the lip.:D
  7. Iridium plugs $7X6 and I did it myself so the labor is free. B)
  8. Ball joints, strut or brake shim kit should be one of them <_<
  9. Alarm is going off, siren is gone or busted <_<
  10. Pull the front panel with the dimmer switch off and unplug it. Pull the panel around the key switch. Remove 2 scrrews from top of panel surrounding cluster. Remove 2 screw from bottom of cluster. Pull cluster out. Unplug harnesses, replace bulbs. <_<
  11. Turbo, Are you saying this from experience? You know when the clearcoat has come off a wheel it looks like dried up water on your wheel that will not come off. So with that, I can do what you stated above? Let me know. :D ← The dried up water look is just oxidation, the meguiars will help remove that. What have you got to lose? <_<
  12. I sure hope they don't pick up a bunch of metal! However the main reason for getting one is too catch anthing that might get in there and to let you know about it. So, if you pull out the plug and see filings you know you might have a problem. Since most people don't cut open their filters <_< I think for $6 to $8 it's worth it.
  13. I was thinking about putting on the "EIBACH PRO-KIT LOWERING SPRINGS" on with my cushy 16's,lol. Will the ride quality be decent with the stock shocks and the EIBACH springs? If not what shocks/spring combo would be best for ride quality. ← You should be fine, I'd replace the struts at the same time as well, if they haven't been replaced already or if it's close to time to replace them. <_<
  14. What color is the fluid leaking? Any odor? Does it only leak when the A/C is on? Does it leak after washing the car or after it rains? Get out the garden hose and peel back the carpet and figure it out or else spend $1000 and get nothing or maybe something. <_<
  15. Yeah, I'll tell ya and all you have to do is buy me lunch. if ya look at the back of the window trim you'll see attachment points that are broken. You may be able to remove them and JB weld them back onto the window frame or just apply JB weld to the broken pieces and clamp together. DON'T FORGET IT MUST CURE FOR 24 HOURS, so the clamps must stay on and don't use the JBWELD quick, it's not as strong. If I ever remove mine I'll come up with a better way to do it, but for now this works. <_<
  16. First go buy some Meguiars Paint cleaner aka step1 and see if that will help to remove just the clearcoat. Then when you get it how you want it, clean the surface with grease and oil remover, you should also do this before the meguiars. buy some decent clearcoat in a can and spray on light coats until you get what you're looking for. I'd also check with some local paint shops for estimates as it may be cheap enough to let them do it. <_<
  17. WOW! It's really not touching the ground, it's carressing it!
  18. If you get the pbus adapter from pioneersuby you can go with any of the older pioneer 12 dics with pbus input.. Or you could just buy a new pioneer mp3 deck and metra kit and run wires back to the amp.
  19. Just the clearcoat has peeled off and it looks like dried up water is all around the lip of the wheel. I was told the clearcoat has peeled off. It hasn't come off on the inner wheel (3 piece wheel), it is just the lip. ← you could probably reclearcoat it yourself or take it to a paint shop and see what they'd charge you.
  20. first of all i have a biology degree so don't preach to me. Fog does not sit on the ground and rain does. . ← WRONG EINSTEIN!!! Fog can sit on the ground, guess your biology degree never encountered radiation fog.
  21. FYI:H2O naturally comes in all three states of matter---Solid, liquid and of course Gas. Water takes many forms. The solid state of water is known as ice; the gaseous state is known as water vapor (or steam). Water has many other forms, such as vitreous ice, a noncrystalline (glassy), solid state of water. Check out this site to find out your wrong: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_%28molecule%29 ← Did you mean to say "you're"? Fog is condensed droplets of water, suspended in air. Very similar to a cloud only at ground level. You cannot see vapor, only the condensate. Your quote mentions absolutely nothing about fog, BTW. Now, back to topic. ← Once again u are wrong fog is not condensed water droplets. The molecules are actually more spread out in water's gaseous state or fog ,clouds whatever u want to call it. You are right u can not see water vapor but clouds and fog are made up of about 80% water vapor which in turn is causing the water droplets iside the vapor due to temperature change in the atmosphere. These droplets reflect light which is the only reason you can see fog or water vapor. Keep studying. You were almost right ← YOU ARE WRONG in saying BARTKAT is WRONG, He may not have said it "technically" perfect, however he is still righ!GO BACK TO HIGH SCHOOL FOR ANOTHER YEAR AND GET A 5 YEAR DEGREE!! fog happens when water vapor REACHES IT'S DEW POINT and WATER CONDENSES out of the vapor.! GOT IT! <_<
  22. Search, we've covered this sooo many times. <_<
  23. If the battery is not shot the trickle charger will work. Here's what I'd do. Take the battery out of your car, take it to the lexus and using your jumper cables, get the lexus started. Then allow the lexus to run at a fast idle and charge your other battery enough to put it back in your other car and start it. Then drive to an auto parts store and replace the lexus battery, as if it's been discharged a few times, it's probably close to going out. If you don't drive the lexus much, I'd look into replacing it with an optima yellow top as they can be discharged without affecting the battery. <_<
