  1. So far we have not done anything. We paid for an exterior and interior protectant, can not remember the name of the product the dealer sold us, it was our understanding that the protectant would eliminate the problem we have. As mentioned, our 2008 looked better after 3 1/2 years than this one does after 3 months. The reason we have not attempted doing our own cleaning is I am not sure what to use and also did not want to do anything to cause issue with the warrenty related to the protectant.
  2. 2010 RX350 white with tan interior. This is our second RX350 the previous one a 2008 was also white with tan interior. After 3 months the seats are very dirty especially where they come in contact with clothing when getting in and out of the car. We had our 2008 for 3 1/2 years and the tan interior on it looked better at trade in than this one does now. Both the 2008 and the 2010 had the exterior and interior protectant done, cannot remember the process name. We have talked to our dealership and we get the feeling that this may be a known issue with this particular (2010) leather color. We are waiting until after winter to take the car in to have the interior cleaned as a claim, covered under the interior protectant we purchased. The leather and light tan color of the 2008 and the 2010 are different. Is anyone else experiencing this with the tan interior on a 2010?
  3. The difference in cost for reg 87 vs prem 91 sounds like a lot when looking at per gallon cost. Here the price difference is $.20 / gal. If I drive 15000 miles per year at 20 mpg that's 750 gallons. At price difference of $.20/gal that works out to $150.00. For me I'll use the premium grade since that is what the manufacturer recommends.
  4. We have a dealer installed Sirius Radio and our antenna is mounted on the dash on the passanger side up close to the windshield. It's the small about 1 1/2 " by 1 1/2 " magnetic s type. It's there and you see it but not distracting. We do have trouble with ours in that we tend to loose signal more than we should. We live in a rural area but generally have full view of the sky other than trees. I would not think that should cause us to loose signal. On open road / freeways we don't seem to loose the signal as much. We think it's a problem with the Sirius radio but unless it does it at the dealership there is probably not much to do about it.
  5. I mentioned my thread about this to the wife last evening and she tells me it is the "high beam" not the low beam that she notices this reflection.
  6. We see it on low for sure and I think also on high. I have pretty much gotten use to it but it drives my wife crazy.
  7. Lexkid630 - I don't know how to use paint and wish I could better describe it. Maybe visualize driving down a narrow road with trees on both sides and the tree tops almost covering the sky above you. You have the light beam shining down the road but then up in the trees you see some stray light forming a wavy line from one side to the other. Actualy a separate line for each light and they basical meet in the middle. As a kid did you ever draw a picture of the sky with birds and the birds were draw with a simple curvy line? That's the best description I can give.
  8. Hi all, new member here. Our 08 RX 350 is driven mainly by my wife. We have had the car since late April 07 and love it. We have a problem with the headlights giving a reflection into trees. This probably sounds crazy but we do get this reflection. We live in a rather rural area with lots of trees lining the sides of the roads. At night with the lights on we get a reflection say 40 feet up into the trees that line the roads. This reflection, one on each side from each headlight, looks kind of like ~. This reflection is spread over the full width of the light beam. I would think if the car was in a building with a high ceiling and the lights were on you would get a similar reflection. As the primary driver of the car my wife is really annoyed by this. She mentioned this to the service department and they checked the headlight aiming and find nothing wrong with the aiming. There appears to be nothing wrong with the car but end result is she gets this reflection. Does anyone else have this issue?
