  1. Glad you weren't hurt Josh.
  2. I didn't know that Lexus made a 93 ES250?
  3. Those Yoko's are definately decent and fairly reasonably priced. I just put a set of Goodyear Assurance Triple Tred's on (and swear by them) as I do not have the room, nor funds to invest in a set of winter tires/wheels any time soon. They too perform extremely well in heavy rain & most winter weather. The other Michelin choices above are also excellent suggestions. Let us know what you decide.
  4. Brake pads & rotor longevity depend on a number of factors. You say you drive in 'a normal way' what does that mean? Give us an idea of your driving style. Also, what type of rotors & pads are you using? IE: aftermarket or OEM?
  5. Thanks gents! RX.....couldn't find that website lol.
  6. I have the costco battery in the wife's Subaru......not a single issue in a year and a half. B)
  7. Keep us posted.......why second thoughts on the ES?
  8. If your doing 78 MPH, I am not suprised by the 22 your getting.....slow it down a bit. Also check your tire pressure. The hard starting might mean you need to have your throttle body cleaned considering the very low mileage & I assume very short trips.
  9. I'm looking for a selection of Lexus Golf & T-shirts.....ebay does not have much in the way of selection & well to be honest.....the dealers up here are like $60+.....for a golf shirt......I don't think so! Any suggestions for something more reasonable?
  10. chillen, funny enough......I was considering going back to GM myself just before I bought my 2005 ES 330 (curious why the ES isn't on your short list as well?) I agree that Buick's in general are pretty reliable vehicles......but your not even close to comparing apples to apples here with one being a 'Flagship' RWD full size car to a 'run of the mill' midsize car (be very careful with that supercharged 3.8L V6!....and if you go with the Regal GS, make sure ALL service records are present and accounted for.....including the intake manifold gasket being replaced....cause it's not a question of 'if'.....it's 'when' it goes....and I would try to get one under 80k KM's if I were you). Not many vehicles out there are as reliable as the LS.....although Lexus' overall reputation (regardless of nmodel) is far better than Buick's generally speaking. Be prepared to invest in a good set of winter tires & wheels should you decide on the LS.....whatever you decide on, I can help find you something 'special' if your interested. ;) Send me a PM. 11. Looks pretty good to me Mike!
  12. Well, that is 30 seconds closer to death! :) lol Mike The SUV's was good too.....and that poor Prius. :(
  13. Wait till you see part 6 with pick up's lol.
  14. These video clips you have to see......he's not a fan of what we drive on this continent! The second video....the first 2 minutes are priceless! Enjoy! http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Featu...rticleId=126312
  15. Nice idea!
  16. I would also pass on the Hydroedge tire......I would get a minimum of an H speed rated tire personally. What size do you need.....the 225 60 16 or 225 55 17? And most importantly, what are you looking for in a replacement tire? IE: long treadlife, wet weather performance etc.
  17. M1 filters are a good quality filter to be sure......so is the OEM Toyota one (I use Amsoil personally). You should be good to go for 5k miles between oil changes (don't worry so much about the color). If your curious what condition your oil is in, I suggest you get a UOA (used oil analysis) done.....and let us know the results. More info here... http://www.blackstone-labs.com/what_is_oil_analysis.html
  18. Would love to see the pics db! Welcome to LOC. :D
  19. I'm with everyone on the battery too Steve.
  20. I agree Steve.....you get what you pay for.....I'm holding off on this for the time being (no money right now anyways lol) & definately don't want my ride looking like a Buick!
