  1. Yup, change the oil & filter.....5W 30 grade. Consider switching to synthetic especially for the winters you folks get out in Western Canada.
  2. Why not call Lexus head office directly to register? Maybe they will be able to mail you a 'hard copy' of your owners manual.
  3. Just wanted to say welcome to LOC Mark! B) Hopefully someone will chime in with the answers your looking for.....keep us posted & good luck!
  4. Ok.....you win! lol.
  5. Saw this on autotrader.com :chairshot: Just a crying shame this is! :cries: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u...amp;cardist=538
  6. Shelly, Are you looking to stick with OE Lexus alloys or go aftermarket? If you look hard enough with a little patience, you should be able to pick up a set of OE Lexus chrome wheels as 'take offs' which should be much less expensive than buying a brand new set from the Lexus dealers parts department . Check the 'buy & sell' forum here & you might also want to go over to clublexus.com....they have an entire section for wheels/tires for sale. E-bay is another possibility......but be careful on there. Good luck. B)
  7. Sharp looking ride.....welcome to LOC! B)
  8. SLK, what size do you need & do you have seperate winter rubber for your IS AWD?
  9. Had the exact same problem with the passenger side mirror on my 05 ES.....the whole mirror assembly needs to be replaced. Is your ES still under factory warranty? Yes, still covered under warranty. I'll be having that along with the steering intermediate, lighter replaced. Few other small items also on the list. Excellent, cause the mirror is about $300+ alone. Any issues with your steering knuckle? That's a common issue with our generation ES.....had mine replaced around 42k miles. Just a heads up. ;)
  10. The Govenator!
  11. In what size Steve?

  13. Found this for ya... http://cgi.ebay.ca/1991-LEXUS-LS-400-LS400...Q2em118Q2el1247
  14. I hear ya & I won't be. ;)
  15. If Lexus.com is unsuccessful (due to the age of your LS for example) give e-bay a try. Welcome to LOC! B) Also might want to e-mail Lexus with your VIN & see if you can pull the service records.
  16. IF you can do some of the work yourself, that would save you a bunch of $$$. Depending on what your LS needs, you might pass out with the dealers quote for the work.
  17. +1 for the before & after alignment printout. B)
  18. Two other winter tires to consider (that Tire Rack does not carry) are the Nokian Hakkapeliitta RSi... http://www.nokiantires.com/en/tire_hakkarsi.aspx And the Toyo Observe Garit KX... http://www.nokiantires.com/en/tire_hakkarsi.aspx Both excellent choices....but will be on the pricey side.
