  1. I own a 2002 Lexus GS430 One day at the same time my gauges just did not want to come on. I have no idea how fast I am driving or how much gas I have in the tank. The rpm gauge also, even though I don't really use it. This also affected my daytime driving lights, which also do not come on anymore. Anyone know why? Could it be the fuses? Other than the above the car works fine.
  2. I have a small problem which started by itself. Seems like my GPS stopped working altogether yesterday. I went to my car, turned it on, and sat down and got the error message about the DVD not being the correct one on my GPS screen! So I opened the trunk, and ejected the DVD and then put it back in. It worked! For about one hour, and then I parked the car. When I returned about 4 hours later it DID NOT WORK AGAIN! So I opened the trunk again and ejected and re-inserted the DVD and now it does not work at all. I cannot access the MENU or DESTINATION buttons either. Has my GPS DVD player bombed out? There are no scratches or anything on the DVD disk. In fact, since I bought the car I have NEVER even ejected the DVD until yesterday!! Any ideas? Do I need to buy a new DVD disk?
