  1. Those circuits are one sided, And you can clean them with care, I agree, Either check them yourself or have them checked for continuity. Thanks Guys, i'll try cleaning them off gently with some soap and water. I'll put it back in and see if any luck.
  2. Hi, i have a 92 es300. My passenger side turn signal never worked, so i took off the headlights yesterday, and noticed that the Printed Circuit was burnt, and black. So i took it off, and figured that it was the reason for the bulb not flashing. I cleaned the housing, and bought new bulbs but still no luck. Here are exact pics of my printed circuit.
  3. Thanks for the help, i' solved my problem. Seems the wiring was right, everything was being sent to the alternator and fuse box. Re-wired and now everythings just as new. Thanks!
  4. also. i got a new battery put in today.
  5. I have a 1992 lexus es300, i was driving it yesterday and i simply rolled down the window and out of nowhere the battery light comes on. I quickly drive it to my mechanic, on the way there whenever i was sitting at idle at a stop light the car would act as if it were going to shut off, i put it in neutral and gassed it up to keep the car alive. Brought it to my mechanic, he says its the alternator...he fixes it, puts a new alternator in. So as im leaving i roll down the window again, and just as i suspected the battery light came on again. he put in a new alternator today, and i told him about the window problem, he tests it drives it around everything was fine, i got in the car ready to leave but one more time i rolled down the passenger side window, and the battery light comes on again. He doesnt know what keeps frying the alternator...has anyone experienced this problem before? or does anyone know whats going on, im covered for a 2 year warranty for the alternator, but it gets annoying to keep going back..Thanks!
  6. Let me know if it works for you. I called the dealer also & they told me 230 +60! I was thinking the same thing. 16 year old car & 300 dollars, no sir, not gonna happen! If you find a good place to buy the keys, let me know also. I've been looking & couldn't find one. thnx Thanks for the response guys, the thing is..i never had a master key before. My key is just a regular cut key, no lexus badge no nothing. I really wanted the official key, but the previous owner never had it. Ugh. So i cant look at the Code on the key because i dont have the official key, so i guess i cant try it out. Unless the code is stamped somewhere else, maybe the owners manual?
  7. Im thinking about buying this blank wireless transmitter key off of ebay for my 1992 ES300. I have a Valet key that doesnt have the button on the side to unlock and lock the doors. I'd love it if i did. I called my local lexus dealer, and even went over there, and they claimed its 225.00 for a new key, and 50.00 for programming. I think this is a rip off! Almost 300 dollars for a new key, and my car is about 16 years old. I know there are methods for programming keys for lexus but i dont know if theres one that will work for my 92, does anyone know any more info about this? Thanks
