My dealer told me they would have to replace the entire running board, so if there is way to just change the bulb, that would be great. Thanks. Replace the ENTIRE running board?!? Are you kidding me?? I have a 01' and all four of them went out in a one year span. Took it to the dealer to replace the buld. Materials and labor cast $80 each... Was searching for a way to replace them also, but couldn't figure it out.... Dude, don't replace the entire running board...

Hey everyone! Going to the mountains in a couple weeks and need some extra luggage space and am thinking about a Yakima Skybox. Debating whether to use the stock crossbars, which i feel are not that rugged cuz I see quite a bit of flex in it. Or getting the Yakima attachments for the side rails and using the Yakima cross bars. The stock side rails feel really solid. Would appreciate any suggestions as well as any stories/experiences with these gear boxes, Yakima, Thule or others.. Thanks!!!

Hi All, My front pasenger outside door handle is loose. Thinking about bringing it in to the dealer, unless there is a easy way for me to do it. Do I need to take the door panel off? Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Hey all! Wondering if anyone has a rubber/plastic trunk liner for a 2001. If so, what brand and where did you get it? I'm looking for one that fits well, and possibly gives me access to the LATCH anchors in the floor. Lexus say they don't have one for that year and the ones post 2001 have different dimensions for the trunk... thanks!

Does anyone else have this problem or a "sagging" rear windshield wipper? When it's off, it will never rest on the window, but rest below horizontal on the paint. i'm starting to get scuffing of my paint from the wiper. I got frustrated and muscled it in place, but it went back down in a day or so and i don't want to break it... Any suggestions?

What do you all think about buying a used 2001 LX470 with 100,000 miles for $22,000? It's in really good shape with very little cosmetic issues and no accidents or major mechanical. Do you think that it will last me a few miles to come? I'm worried about the high miles and future repair/maintainence cost.

They want $75 for the light alone! Is it a bulb? When only 1 light on the side goes out, gives the care a "broken" look.... Any suggestions?

Does anyone know how to replace the running board lights!! In the last 6 months, I've had to replace 2 out of 4, and not #3 is out! Each time it cost me about $100 to replace 1 light!!! thanks!
