I'd like to purchase a decent code reader for a "1992" ES300. My understanding is there is a limited few that will work with the 92. Could someone recommend one? Just want to save some money now and then when possible on repairs. Thank you.

Greetings, I've lurked here a while but this is my first post. The check engine light came on in my daughters 92 ES300 a day after an oil change. The previous owner of this car said (and I'm getting this third hand) that there is a button in or around the glovebox to clear this situation and he indicated it was related to an oil change. I have never heard of this. Could someone validate or explain that to me? The other part of the question is...in general, is there a way to clear the check engine light on this car or must I take it in. I simply want to clear it to see if it comes on again.
