How Important Is It To Use 93 Octane In My 2006 Rx330?

I too have notice a pinging noise when idling, wonder if gas octane will make a difference or if a trip to the dealership is needed. Anyone else having this problem? -
Pbaucks, I would like to know how the installation and operation of the xm direct worked for you? I have a '04 RX330 and was told that there was no xm direct available for the car - however, I see from your posted link that intergration solutions has a unit for my '04. Please reply, as to your experience as I am thinking about ordering the unit today!

Hey Ramblnman, don't feel bad - seems like we all struggle with this programing the homelink thing, but I did manage to program mine before having to call the dealer. Try following the instructions in the manual - EXCEPT - where it says press the homelink button 2x's Here's the trick - PRESS IT 3X'S IN SUCCESSION! I don't know why, but this worked for me after several frustrating attempts to do it according to the manual. Hope this helps, good luck!

Ja~ne, have you tried logging on to the Lexus website? I think you can download a pdf. file of the users manual, (or portions of it). Also, the dealer should be able to order you one, (usually gratis if they are interested in retaining you as a repeat customer!) Good luck.
