  1. Part 16401-62090 is the correct CAP - a 1.0 bar. The pictures shown on the Web, and the one shipped to me must have been for a different model, or later year.
  2. The original radiator cap on my 1994 ES300 has gained a divit in the rubber seal where the overflow tube joins the alloy housing the cap mates with (the rubber is degrading). The top of my cap has 1.0 embossed on one of the wings. I take this means 1.0 bar, or the 83-113 kPA (.85 - 1.15 kg/cm2) that the service guide claims is the normal range for the pressure. I'd like to replace the cap. Trouble is, the parts that I can find are 1.1 bar. I don't feel the small PSI increase will affect much, but I would like to know if 1.0 caps are still available (what part number)? Are there cold climate and warm climate models? I can't see in the ordering system where the original part was superceeded. Thanks.
  3. I've read in a few places in this forum that you can (if you find one) install a factory CD changer in the trunk of the car without much trouble. My question is, my factory radio only has buttons for AM/FM1/FM2/and Tape. Are these buttons reassigned to those that are shown in the owners manual under the CD controller section? Or do I need to replace the factory radio with one that has the CD controller? Thanks!
  4. The first and third generation seems like Toyota had a budget to work with. My fav. is the 1st with the 1MZ-FE engine, which I don't think was in the 1992 (or perhaps 1993). It added ODB-II and other upgrades (going from memory here).
