  1. Dislike my Bridgestone Potenza run flats and Dunlop SP Sport 5000M DSST tires have been suggested as a better alternative in run flats because they ride and handle better than the Potenzas. What is your experience with these Dunlops as proposed to me? Thanks for your help and input.
  2. Need to replace my SC430 run flats. Any suggestions for a better tire than OE Bridgestone Potenza? They not only ride hard, but seem harder to steer and control than thy should. I know tire wear will not b good on any brand, but would like a little smoother, quieter ride that is easier to steer and handle. Thank you for your help.
  3. I too bought a new 2003 SC430 in June of 2003 and have 11,800 miles on it. I live in southern Florida where the constant heat is actually a bigger drain than cold weather, but have had no problem. A number of my friends and neighbors drive the SC's too, and none hav had any problems. I concur with the writers who tell you to 1) invoke California's strong lemon law, and 2) immedatley contact Lexus top Zone people or the U.S. Lexus distributor which is based in Margate, Florida and operates JM Lexus in Margate as its primary dealership. Good luck!!
  4. Thanks for the thoughts. I am located in Naples, Fl where the temp hovers in the 70-80 + range most of the winter. I have had the treads, sidewalls and valve stems checked to no avail, and we live in a very secure gated community, so the kids don't get at the car. I think you may be correct though; it just may be a slow loss over an extended period of time. The other possibility that just came to mind is that the dealer rotated the tires within the last two weeks, and perhaps they did something inadvertently. Guess I will just have to watch it closely for a while. By the way, I have been carrying about 34 psi. Is that too much?
  5. I have a slow leak in a couple of my run flats on my new SC430 with no indication of any damage. Any hints?
