The roof ecu is located underneath the trunk panels you will have to remove the tool tray both side panels the rear vertical panel around the trunk lock once you get all of these floor board out you will see the top ecu located next to the rear dvd navigation unit that is in the trunk as well. Its not difficult to get to you just have to patient and remove the pop up clips to remova all of the floor panels Buddy

When changing tires on new or old rims if your transferring sensors form one rim to another [ YOU MUST USE NEW FITMENT KITS FOR THE SENSORS] I occasionally see them sold on ebay brand new for 16.00 for a set of 4 shipped Lexus will want about 55.00 for the set. The air pressure sensors are lithuim battery devices that install and have the air pressure valve as part of them. Iam not sure what you mean about a second hole in the barrel ??? Buddy Buddy

HI I have a 2005 sc430 same car . When i bought it I bought a motorola razor V3. I also had to upload one entry at a time . I spoke to lexus techj support many times and they told me that the gen 4 system I had at the time i bought the car was only designed to work in this way . That you could not upload your entire address book from a cell phone . If things have changed which I dont think so . I believe there is no phone you can get that will upload the entire adrress book. The only bonus if there is one . If you pair up another brand cell phone to your sc 430 it will be able to use the address book that you created from the former cell phone . I have tested this and it works . I have a garmin zumo mototrcycle-car gps. It uploaded the entire address book from my razor to the garmin. It does this evrytime you power the zumo up and it finds your cell phone and uploads the address book evrytime. I think the technology of 2005 was no where near what we have today. I am not framiliar with gen 5 and its capabilitys . Howver I still think the address book is the same issue on the new sc430. Buddy

Vias kit came with the vcais interface and a sirius connect tuner with a small antenna with 10 foot cabel . I mounted the antenna next to the passenegers windshield pillar. I ran the wire and pressed it into the crevice between the pillar and the dash. I then ran wire down underglove box [ removed lower garnish panel very easy just clips out ] then tucked wire under lip of center console and fed it into where i had velcro both small control boxs in the hollow area of the center console , I get good reception but if i go under a lot of shaded trees i do occasional loose the signal some times . I paid 300.00 frrm integration solutions ebay vendor. The new vias unit firm ware 4.38 fixed a lot of bugs people were experiencing, I have been enjoying ine for 3 weeks with no issues . The kit form integration solutions gives you evrything you need to install . The oem harness they make that allows you just plug and play and makes install easy. Buddy 2005 sc430

I bought cost was 300.00 I installed it my self Was really very easy. I did a lot of research and am very happy with end result. To operate just press the am button twice and you get sat 1 then press again sat 2 press again sat 3 The sat 1 2 3 are six presets you can set 18 different siruis chanels It plays right through your oem radio You also can control It right from the steering wheel as you can choose cd am tape fm change volume change channels it works just like the factory. What you get once the install is done is When you press the am button twice it will read sat 1 press again sat 2 press again sat 3 press again fm press again fm 2 press again cd etc etc .
