  2. i bought my 1999 gs300 in 2000. i asked the salesman about the clicking sound and he said it was normal. breaks work great and still makes clicking sound.

  5. lexus replaced a sensor on my 99 gs300 and never stalled again.
  6. i have a 99 gs300 and toyota (charlotte n,c) $428.00 changed at 117k. t belt condition was 50/50.
  7. my 99 gs was doing the same thing. a sensor was replaced. lexus repaired it. no charge. was a out fo warranty. ???? why no charge i dont know didnt ask. i purchased car from the same dealer.
  8. i dont have one. i took my car to toyota this past thursday. cost 428.00 total. i think it was 2 or 3 belts and a seal. did i get ripped or was that a good price? lexus wanted 600.00 b4 tax. i live in the charlotte,nc area.

  12. I HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM. 1999 GS330 WOULD CUT OFF AFTER STOPPING, BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. TOOK MY LEX TO DEALER AND I THINK MY WARRANTY WAS OUT. NO CHARGE! AMAZED ME. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY IT WAS A SENSOR. I THOUGHT IT WAS OLD TRANS FLUID MAYBE. HAD IT FLUSHED. IT WAS TIME FOR IT BUT DIDNT HELP. IT WAS A SENSOR. DONT KNOW THE PRICE OR EVEN PART #. REP JUST SAID IT WAS A SENSOR. GOOD LUCK

  14. TRY THIS: B4 U EXIT TURN OFF AC AND SET VENTS TO RECIRCULATE OR TURN OFF AC MOMENTS B4 YOU PARK AND EXIT VEHICLE. THIS SEEMS TO WORK FOR ME.
  15. DRIVERSIDE OEM HID NOT WORKING. I WANT TO CHECK TO SEE IF I HAVE JUST A BLOWN BULB BY REMOVING PASSANGER SIDE HID BULB AND INSTALLING ON DRIVERS SIDE FOR TESTING PURPOSE. DONT WANT TO SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING I DONT NEED RATHER DO ANOTHER MOD. SO CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OR DIRECT ME TO THE INFO I NEED TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. REMOVING OEM HID BULB AND CHECKING FOR FAULTY EQUIPMENT. ONE OTHER THING LEXUS IN CHARLOTTE,NC WANT $350.00 FOR OEM REPLACEMENT BULB. ANY SUGGESTION FOR AFTERMARKET OEM HID BULBS????
  16. is this a std option with nav, hid-auto leveling and will my hids require a diffrent voltage or the same as all hids for 1999 gs300's
  17. hello everyone! my 1st post and i must say this site is is #1. ok, this is my question. after being hit in the rear my vsc light comes. during normal driving if i stop after the vsc comes on shortly after that the next time i stop its as if transmission disengages and i am stuck. my fix: shift to park, turn car off then shift into drive then i can proceed. while i am unable to move. if i press on the gas pedel no reaction from the engine until i put shifter into park and restart the engine. can anybody help?
