  1. This is a follow up to my previous posting here. I've driven 1,000+ miles, and the warning lights have not come on. The air filter hose diagnosis fixed it completely. Thanks Lexus Owners Club & Mehullica.
  2. mehullica, you have some great knowledge on my car. I read your post and ran outside excited to look at my air filter. YES, a rubber hose was disconnected to a steel tube about 8" away. So I've reconnected the hose, and reset the car. I'll thank you in advance, but will definately reply back to this discussion in about 100 miles. Thanks a ton, New Member: krose944
  3. I bought a 2002 RX300 1 month ago at a BMW dealership. The morning I showed up, they said they had to take my car to the Lexus dealer down the street to replace a windshield wiper that was broken (must have missed their 160 point inspection). I got nervous when they came back 2-1/2 HOURS later. Now that I've owned the car for a month, I keep getting the VSC & CEL error. So I replaced the Denso sensor (pre-cat & post-manifold) & reset the car. But 100 miles later, the lights came back on. My Autozone told me the error is P0440/P0441/P0446 and I'm finding out that this may be a more costly fix. My question is this: Is there a way for me (or a local Lexus dealer) to figure out if the BMW dealership reset the vehicle the morning I purchased the car? Because apparently, they have shredded their inspection report because they "don't keep them around after the sale". Thanks, krose944
  4. I have a 2002, Rx300 - I too had the VSC & Check Engine Light come on as well. I read the forum assuming that the P1135 was my problem. So I replaced the Denso sensor (pre-cat & post-manifold) & reset. But 100 miles later, the lights came back on. My Autozone told me the error is P0440/P0441/P0446 and I too am looking for help. I'm a DIY'er and would like to avoid dealer fees if possible. Thanks
