  1. You are talking about LXOGOOD's car. And he got the autocouture LED illumination kit wired on his sideskirts.
  2. Dang, bro. Now your car looks like a splittin' image of my car! Nice! I can't wait to see the dyno numbers! And that BOV just looks absolutely beautiful!
  3. You may contact: XS Engineering SP Engineering SRT Toyomoto These guys have built some serious hp on the 2jz-ge platform before.
  4. The Aristos don't come with manual transmission And for the Supra pinout, I think you can find it in mkiv.com or supraforums.com
  5. Errr...blue with stickers on it like a race car? I don't know what you mean.... My car is and always has been silver unless you are talking about the mechanic pad that was placed over my fenders during garage work to prevent misc. tool mishaps and dings and scratches?
  6. Actually you are right the 2nd time round. My FMIC unit is actually a HKS type-S, I've never heard of the Yonaka unit. I was told by members at club-aristo.net in Japan that any bigger than the Type-S unit, I will be running a severe risk of turbo lag. This is mainly because we have a stock lower boost than a USDM Supra and a type-S is deemed more than enough for a stock turboed v300 engine. You can check out most of my mods at: www.livejournal.com/users/jtanoyo It's a mini journal of all the stuff I had installed on my car over the past year or so......
  7. Oh, as a matter of fact, I believe you completely. I have no reason not to believe you (especially since I myself own a V300). I just want to see those pics! It's a big mess, you are right, but WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MESS it is! Man, I always get so psyched up to see people who are willing to do so much and invest so much into a goal that everyone else says will be impossible to achieve. Congratulations!!! :) By the way, if you are curious, this is my "mess" at the shop:
  8. That's the Rando kit sitting on a set of what apparently looks like old-school MAE (not the one posted by Mr. Sypher). The car is not practical to drive but I heard it's a beast!
  9. Sorry bro, that's a heck lot of words and no pics to show..... :whistles:
  10. Dang man. It must be hard to keep that mod to yourself all this while!!!! VERY PIMP! :o
  11. My best guess is a loose throttle cable. I had mine tightened in 5 minutes today and there's no hesitation anymore. I think older cars tend to have its cable become loose overtime causing rough and low idling and engine hesitation.....
  12. THere are a lot of other grill choices out there rather than the tte you know....
  13. Yes, Neo. I did get it from Alex. I think you should take it up with him about the price because what I got from him includes shipping to Jakarta and I know it's different here that to where you are.

  15. Sorry, bro. That's an Apex'i RSM (rev speed meter) which does 1/4 mile reading, average km/h, speed, rpm, etc. My boost controller is the AVC-R which at the moment is still sitting wrapped in a plastic bag next to the battery inside the engine case. *mumbling expletives* I still can't seem to be able to run the cable into the cabin......and I refuse to let other people do the work for me...grr. :P
  16. Nice, that sure looks like the Maya DTMs that are very popular among GS owners. I think it will look great on your car if that's your kind of tea. But like others, it's a lil too much bling for me.
  17. Here's my car. I am a long time poster at Club Lexus and thought y'all might want to see my baby. I know most of you have probably seen it but here goes... I included some of the warm sunshine tropical trees background for you poor folks in the northern hemisphere....
  18. I got it on my car but that's because it's a RHD toyota aristo. I think some dude from the "other site" already managed to transplant the blackwood kit to his LHD car in Cali.... BADA$$!!!!!
  19. It's a common case of bad road conditions and Lexus infamous crappy suspension. Lexus makes its suspension so soft that it follows every rut and dips on the road without being able to correct it. Occasionally on my Aristo, I could feel the steering wheel pull violently to the left or right especially when the road is very wavy (like one of those test tracks for military hummers). Put on some swaybars on your car, you would be very surprised at how much of the problem would go away. Trust me on this.
  20. The "thingie" she meant is the wind deflector that sit between the 2 tailpipes. Good luck with clearance...
  21. errr...I beg to differ. My car is built to squeeze every ounce of "sport" out of it. Then again, it's not a Lexus. :D
  22. Dude, the restriction only applies for JDM Aristos like mine. Installing a HKS SLD (speed limit defender) will remove that top speed cut. But all this is purely a Japanese thing. If your car is a GS300, it won't have the same restriction as cars from my side of the world. You will still be electronically limited to whatever Lexus sets it for your market. I don't even know why you are buying an Aristo transmission. It won't fit. There are a lot more electronics/mechanics involved because these 2 cars are SO different. They pretty much only share the shell. Also, about retrofitting your supra turbos into the GS300. Think about it, if it's possible, wouldn't all the NA supras already be doing this mod? NA supra and GS300 has pretty much the same engine. You will be better off getting a turbo kit for the GS300 from SRT or something.
  23. Transfer of the supra brakes over to the GS is a plug-and-play affair. All you have to do is cut the dust shield behind the rotor to accomodate the larger calipers, buy some new SS brakelines for the GS and u are good to go. Aristo tt owners in Japan own 450rwhp cars and they use stock supra brake upgrades. I think the AP 6-pot would be a waste of money. Go with a monoblock 4-piston aluminium brakes upgrade. They are lighter, smaller and brake just as good as the Supra. I think Guru mentioned a company before..... :whistles:
  24. Lex_chick, The 2 pics you posted are of pre-2001 taillights which had gone through a process of having its amber film removed to give it the clear look. The process is DIY-able, but very hard and often ends in disaster. I've heard stories of melted lens (from the heatgun), fogged up lens (coz they are not glued back properly), or just broken lens in general. Now, with the new 2001+ taillights, that same process is NOT applicable. The new style lights already come with amber lens and it takes a lengthy, even more difficult process to remove the lens, hand-carve a new clear lens and put it back on the car. The cheapest clear 2001+ lens I know online is direct from Japan about $800, made by some unknown company. The JP version is $1200 and there are only 3 or so people in America who own them. I think Guru's price for this truly JDM new style taillights are awesome coz they cost a lot more elsewhere.
