I haggled with the dealer when i bought my car. 2006 GS430 and they installed an IPOD integration unit. They claim that it cost them $375. I now have a cable that is inside my console where i store my ipod. I am able to use my navi controls to go thru listen to my ipod. It works great! Any idea what they installed ? I am looking to do the same to my 2007.

I have an 07 GS350 AWD and I am averaging 21 mpg overall. -
I am new to this site but I actually did install my V1 by tapping into the Mirror harness. I will have to pull mine apart to see what color it was but it works perfectly. Yes, it is a switched 12v as well. Sorry but is has been a while since I did it and I finally stopped shaking. OK scratch the mirror harness... I am assuming that none of the wire were 12V.
