  1. Detailed information on removal and repair of the LCD module. I hope this helps. http://www.lextreme.com/lcdtech.html
  2. Here are a couple of links that have lots of information and pictures too. Good luck, I hope that this helps. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200819 http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=362714
  3. If you go to AutoZone (there may be other auto parts stores that do the same). They can run a diagnosis for your check engine light. Once that is done you have a good staring point. Good luck, Elvis
  4. HI Ken, I have a 95sc400 and I also have noticed that the center console area gets warm. I have a 145,000 and it's still running great. If your haveing the same issue, I bet that it's normal for that area to get a bit warm. Has anbody else seen this too?
  5. I'm thinking about a new exhaust/muffler. I like the look of your mufflers. What did you use?
  6. Why the throttle body? Did it need replacing? TB = Timing belt
  7. Any luck on the coolant leak??? New WP, TB, and T-Stat. Plus labor for my 95sc 400 was $1095.00 Hope every thing turned out ok for you
  8. 130 in my 95 Sc400. In the middle of nowhere Montana. Ran out of road to or would have gone faster (BIG curve in the road two miles up) Still had plenty of power and was very smooth. The real kicker is that I got pulled over about a half hour later for going 85 in a 60. The fine was $40.00
  9. Your getting heat that mean that the WP is still operational. The coolant is probably leaking from the weep hole on the WP. If the seal is bad the leak is only going to get worse. Of course the longer that the car is running the better chance that you will be able to see the leak. I hope that I am wrong with my diagnosis, as I am sure that you know that this is not a cheap fix, I am unfortunately talking from experience. My three hour drive to northern MN this past weekend took me six and a half hours. My 95 SC 400 with 146K. Started overheating about two hours into the trip. I made it to a gas station bought coolant, I made it another 25 miles and I started overheating again, I did this three more times before getting to my final destination.
  10. It sounds like it may be the water pump seal. If so then your looking at replaceing the water pump and the timeing belt. Good luck.
