  1. looks like its going to be another great addition to an already awesome car.
  2. you will need the 2 line output if you go with an O2 simulator. this is only like $20 compared to getting a $180 replacement sensor. it is soldered into your ecu and is very simple. so if i get a regular O2 sensor then i will need the 2 line? and if i get a O2 simulator i will need a 2 line as well? do u know what are the other ones like 4 lines for? also where do i get a simulator and what are the differences between the simulator and the regular O2 sensor? will the simulator help performance at all? does it come with everything i need to hook it up? and do I have to solder anything?
  3. Hello everyone, I have a 2002 Lexus GS300. I am getting the error code p0141 so I need to replace the b1s2 oxygen sensor. I went to the local auto parts store to buy one and they said it cost 180 bucks, so I wanted to check the price of one online. Problem is when I look them up online I don't know what one I need. There are choices of 1,2,3 and 4 wire oxygen sensors. What one do I need for my car? Also some say kits. Do I need a kit? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
  4. Thanks for your response. I don't really have the bucks right now for the SRT, would it be worth it just to get a 80 dollar KN Ram air intake for now? Nice car by the way.
  5. Hey all, thanks for reading. I'm planning on getting a air intake for my 02 GS300. I'm wondering what the main differences are. I was looking on ebay and come up with a whole bunch for around a price of 100 bucks. Then I looked at the SRT website because I saw other users talking about those intakes and their prices are 450 bucks. Both air intakes look like the same thing. What, if any are the big differences? I'm wondering has anyone bought a intake of ebay and how did it work out for them? can you feel a difference in power? do you really get better miles per gallon? Thanks for helping me out all.
  6. Hello all. I have a 2002 GS300. Black exterior and creame leather interior. The car has almost 80,000 miles and its still running great. I haven't done too much to the car yet, but of course I have big plans for it. So far I've tinted the windows all around and put my system in it. I have a JL W7 sub with JL 1000 watt amp hooked up. I also have a large capacitor attached. My next step is to get some rims. I haven't deciced if I'm going chrome or black. Any one have any suggestions? and does anyone know if 20's fit? I was debating on going with 18s or 20s. I've kept the car well serviced and thus far no problems. The only small problem i have is that the directional compass in the rear view mirror is turned off and I can't seem to get it back on. I've tried holding the button for over 6 seconds but nothing happens. Any one know how to fix that? Well other then that small set back I absolutely love this car. Here are a few pictures...
  7. Sorry to hear of your loss. Is it repairable? If not are you planning on parting it out?
  8. hi athens, I have a 02 gs300 and I love the car. Its getting up around 80,000 miles now but still running smooth. I'm planning on keeping it for as long as I can. I love this car. I've heard nothing but great talk about how long toyota engines last. My mom used to drive a toyota camary when I was a kid and she had that car all the way up to 300,000 miles. I'm hopeing to break her record with my lexus. As long as the car has been serviced and well taken care of I don't see why you would want to give it up. Good luck with your decision.
