How often should these be replaced? I have one independent garage quoting me 1/3 more for a 120k service than the dealer, on the basis that the spark plug wires should be automatically changed out at that service. The required maintenance is to replace spark plugs, but the book doesn't even mention to inspect the wires at that service. And does anyone know of any quality differences between OEM wires and NAPA (the independent is a NAPA shop and I suspect they replace everything with NAPA products)? Thanks in advance for replies.
