Hi, I've bought a uncut key from ebay and programming instructions from keylessride and programmed the remote to work on my 2001 RX300. Also, it cost me $25 to cut to fit in the ignition and turn on but it could not start. The guy that cut the key gave me the instructions to programmed the transponder to start the RX, but it did not worked because I don't have a "master key". I only the "valet key". The question is: "How can the cut key work without the master key?" The instructions that I have requires a master key. I only have a valet key. Please let me know if there's a way. I would like to know where the actual navigation DVD system is located on the 2001 RX300. Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I also have a 2001 RX300 with navigation system software v2000. It's great except the navigation started to act crazy. It's going everywhere except your input destination. It's wacked. At least, it still knows its current position. It seems like it needs a software upgrade. Where can find, other than the Lexus dealer, the upgrade? Appreciate the help. Thanks, Stephen.
